Student Government

At JPED’s student government, I organized school-wide events and represented student ideas to school leaders across three years of leadership.

3successive roles: Vice President, President, and Supervisor
In my words

Each role asked me to lead differently. Now, the most meaningful part is stepping back: helping a new team trust its own judgment and build something I would not have designed myself.

What I did
  • Led weekly meetings and turned student ideas into plans with owners, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Organized school-wide events including Halloween, Christmas, Student Government Day, and Spirit Week.
  • Worked with the principals to turn student proposals into projects that fit the school’s practical constraints.
  • Led the student-government team’s planning for the 2026 graduation ceremony and prom.
  • Supervise the 2026–27 team, offering continuity and guidance while leaving space for its members to lead.
