Calina Zhang

SelfPace The highest string. It usually carries the melody.
Violin The note a whole orchestra tunes to.
Student Government The middle voice that holds the harmony together.
Community Service The lowest, warmest string. Everything else sounds on top of it.

I’ve played the violin since I was six, so its four strings are how I think about my work. E, A, D and G became Educate, Art, Direct and Give. Each string can sound on its own, but the music happens when all four play together.

Lift every life you touch, and the world rises.
