JPED Action taught me to see service as a relationship, not an event. Showing up repeatedly mattered more than arriving once with an answer.
What I did
- Co-founded JPED Action with three classmates and helped establish its partnership with Tianyun Disability School.
- Organized virtual sign-language lessons that gave JPED students a practical way to prepare for communication and exchange.
- Coordinated the donation of unused school furniture and helped organize a school visit.
- Created a booth and joint performance for JPED’s charity fair, giving both communities a visible role in the event.
- Organized JPED Action Day, a half-day fundraiser whose proceeds were donated to Tianyun Disability School.
