A Loving Concert

I led a charity concert in Beijing from its first idea to the final performance, then used its proceeds to purchase and deliver supplies in Cambodia.

In my words

I wanted music to leave something behind after the final note. Following the project all the way to Cambodia made responsibility tangible: the concert was not finished until its promise was fulfilled.

Project arc
  1. Before the concert

    Building the project

I recruited performers and managed the work that turned an idea into a concert, from rehearsals to venue preparation.

  2. On the day

    Holding the event together

I hosted the concert as MC and performed as both a soloist and ensemble violinist.

  3. After the concert

    Following through

We turned the proceeds into supplies and delivered them in Cambodia—the final step in fulfilling the concert’s promise.
